Bayside Inn in Edgewater

This is one of my favorite places for all seafood and steak. I have never had a bad meal/drink here. Penny and Dawn are amazing! Will go back many times. The fried zucchini is amazing!

Excellent seafood, huge portion of fish. Cozy atmosphere

Visited from out if town. Crabs were good, french onion soup was ok, the other soup we got was barely warm. Service was just ok. Had to ask for several things that should be on the table like silverware, napkins, old bay, butter. I heard this place was normally not this way so maybe it was just a bad day.

I really love their dishes. I always get excellent service there. The place is always clean and the workers are always helpful. Keep up the good work.

Good food nice people

Food was very good and our server, I think her name is Lauren, was very friendly.

Wings and shrimp are awesome. When in season, this is THEplace for crabs. They come straight from the bay. Play some keno to pass the time or shoot a game of pool. The beer is cold.

Crabs are alway good and service is friendly

Had the crab cake dinner with fries and coleslaw. Crab cakes had too much mayo in them. They were fried very good.

A dozen crabs after a day on the bay and crab cakes for my partner who doesn't like hammering his food - all were perfect. I enjoy their outside seating. Good service. Good food.

Came here for the first time for a birthday celebration and can't see going anywhere else for crabs. As a novice crab cracker, the staff really set you up with everything you need for a seamless experience and clear throughout your meal so you don't get too messy. The crab was flavorful and succulent and the price was just great for how much food we got. Our watress even went the extra mile and made the birthday Sundae for my friends dad herself. Great selection of other menu items as well. Super yummy corn fritter! I can see why this place has been around so long as a local favorite. Will totally be coming back😎🦀

The absolute best seafood this side of the bay bridge. Service was incredibly 1st class.

Best place for crabs in the area

Crabs were hot, big fat and tasty. Sevice was very good. They had everything you would want to go with the crabs like vinager, melted butter and extra old bay. There is lots of parking and seating. We also had steam shrimp, and Jalapeno pepper poppers. Each were very good as well.

LOVE THIS PLACE. Great food. Greater crabs. They prepare crabs like "back in the day." I drive from Columbia, MD to enjoy these crabs in the summer. Grandparents had a cottage at Beverly Beach in the 50's.

Favorite family restaurant. So much variety and delicious everything. Crab deals are great as well.

Have been there three times this spring, once for prime rib and twice for crabs. Service is slow and unorganized. Ordered large crabs and they were small and light. Two of the three visits the server had my bill wrong. The only good thing to say is the prime rib tasted good. Won’t go back!

1st time at Bayside Inn at the crabs were amazing. Very friendly staff and all the customers were equally friendly very family oriented. Must try, I know well be back

I JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU LAUREN AND PENNY FOR SHOWING ME AND MY HUSBAND A GREAT TIME I CANNOT WAIT TO COME BACK. Hands down the best experience we had all weekend besides where we rested our heads. They treated us like family and not because we was spending money. Even after her shift she relaxed with us as well. Also thanks to our new friends and frequent flyers of bayside Tim, Mia and if I remember correctly Josh. You all made us feel at home and that says a lot we will see you next month. Thanks again PS the Crabs are the BEST I ever had in Maryland

This place is a dive but the zucchini sticks and the crabs are awesome. Yes I said dive because it is one, but it's a decent place.

My boyfriend and I make the trip here all the way from Silver Spring at least once a week! My boyfriend is SO picky about crabs. If they aren’t Maryland crabs, he won’t eat them. Bayside has the best local crabs and hush puppies. The waitresses are super friendly too. If we call ahead, they have a table waiting for us with the paper and drinks set up before we get there.

Great food, very cozy environment, awesome service. Food came out quick and hot. Halibut Sandwich was awesome and the Oyster sandwich was divine! Prices are fantastic and really reasonable. Go now!

We came for a pre birthday and it was awesome! We had their crabs! The best I've had in a long time. This is the time of the year to have crabs stop by here for sure! Yummo!

It was our first time here. We live in Annapolis and are familiar with all the great Maryland crab places around here. Today we decided that Bayside Inn is going to be our crab place from now on. The crabs were large and succulent, the price right, great drinks, warm and friendly atmosphere and great service!

We had fish and chips and everything was great. I would have liked the fish fried darker, but the taste was good. Our waitress was fantastic.

Took over 45 minutes to get my fried chicken. Then it tasted like it was fried in something else other than clean oil. The green beans were just dumped into a bowl from the can. No sign of any seasoning. The baked potato was mushy. The Kahlua & cream tasted like there was no Kahula in my glass. My friend said hers tasted like all the liquor was in her glass. She even commented on how much her drink was darker than mine. No a very good experience.

This is a great place to stop in and get some really good food. We stopped in here actually because another restaurant in the area was closed for the day, but we weren't disappointed. The service was great, we got to pick our seats (which is something I personally like) and the food/drinks were great.We had the MD crab dip, French Dip, Calamari and a Cuban sandwich (all pictured).I'm also adding pictures of the menu because I didn't see any in the google pictures already posted. Definitely worth the stop if you're in the area and want something to eat!

The crabs were amazing! Cooked to perfection. A "Large" crab, was a "Large" crab. Money well spent! Customers for life!
